we had a buffy-thon (season 6) two weeks ago. malachi came over for some of it and that was good. that saturday we had lunch at sole mio and erin ate with us which was nice. we don't get to see her enough.
early last week doug made mention of wanting to see ghost in the shell 2 as it was coming on at the belcourt. so tues night or so i stopped by a blockbuster to pick up the first one as i'd never seen it, and happened to find bubba ho-tep on sale for 9.99 so i picked that up. which was nice cause even at the cheap online places it's selling for 26.99 or so. also during the middle of that week julie and i both started feeling a little under the weather. we blamed it on william cause he said he was getting over a cold when he came up for the buffy-thon. so friday night i come in and i'm just tired. i'd not had many cold symptoms till then; just tired. so i wind up crashing to sleep at 7pm, waking up at 10pm and thinking, 'eh, fuck it', and rolled over and went back to sleep. i got up at 7am on saturday and layed around for a bit. then i realized that my nose was stuffy, runny, and i had sinus pressure. bleah. but doug came over, well actually malachi showed up first, then doug, then we watched ghost in the shell 1, sat around for a bit, then went to see the sequel. after coming back from the movie and supper we watched bubba ho-tep. doug spent the night and we doddled around the next morning till we went to eat lunch at the frothy monkey then went to grimey's. oddly i didn't really find anything i wanted. which is probably for the best.
oh, last tues i left work early cause i felt so tired and crummy. and i left work ealry yesterday for somewhat the same reason, but also cause my nose and head were killing me. and i stayed out of work today. i still feel kinda weak and tired.
i got a 40gb off ebay recently (took a fucking month to get it from the guy even though i paid for it 15 mins after the auction was over) but since i've got that installed i've started ripping and encoding more cds to mp3s to just store and have at hand. and being out sick today is providing me plenty of time to work on that.
this saturday is my 10 year reunion. after talking to lorie a few weeks ago, she said that only 30 or so had RSVP'd so i'm not sure how this is gonna go.
