didn't do so much tues or wed night; not that i remember anyway. wed night we just sat around and watched '100 greatest one hit wonders' on vh1. forgot to watch angel. oops. hope it was a rerun; i need to check on that. *2 mins later* nope, it was a rerun. um, anyway thurs we went to a party at chuck e cheese. it was for the daughter of a friend of mine at work; she turned 5. julie and i had a good time playing the games there; oh and i guess it was tues night that we went out to buy the gifts for the party. i picked out a set of barbie clothes, and julie and i agreed on another set that had 2 gowns. um, after the party we came back here and finished undecorating the tree, and hauled it off on the wagon. came back and put all the stuff back in our xmas box. after that we finished up our firefly box by watching the last few commentaries we hadn't seen. fri morning we did a few things around here and pop called around 9 or 10 to say he was mostly on his way, with ray, to get the 4 door and haul it back home on a trailer. if he could find one to rent. so julie and i got ready, got our stuff together, and i went to pay rent and go to the bank to cash my xmas bonus. oh, yeah i got a xmas bonus from work; don't remember if i mentioned that or not. it wasn't that much really, but kinda nice none the less. um, but anyway i get back and pop and ray are already here. we load the car up and pop is in a rush to go ahead and get out of nashville, and through m'boro before rush hour starts. so they run off and julie and head out just a bit later. but we don't catch up with them till woodbury, where they had stopped for late lunch. we eventually made it almost home with no problems. we were going to unload the car at the armory right up above our house so pop wouldn't have to haul the car and trailer around some steep hill/curves. ..but we tried to crank the subaru and it was dead. we'd had the flashers on (as law requires) but they'd drained the fucking battery. so we have to secure it back down, take it all the way down to the house, pull the battery out, charge it for 10 mins, then pull her off there. after we got all of that done we sat inside for a bit and julie wanted supper. so we went by wal-mart to take 2 things back that i got her for xmas, then went by auto zone to get a dome light and some thingees to attach my license plate with, then went to the tap for supper. came back home and talked for a bit, then we all went to bed. sat morning we had breakfast, mom left to get her haircut, then later julie and i went to cookeville to take back the first denim jacket i got her for xmas, then get our hair cut. after that i ran by office max to look for some cheap memory or a dvd rom, but they were all out or had sucky prices. so we go back home and then we all go up to crossville to go shopping for some clothes. julie wanted some pants, maybe some shoes, and some other stuff. we ate luch at the bean pot (to which i'd never been). it was pretty good but the extreme hillbilly menu speak got on my nerves. shopping didn't go so well; mom got some stuff, but julie and i wound up with nothing. at least pop got a pie keeper. on the way out we stopped by movies 4 sale and i got love's secret domain from coil on cassette and also passengers (u2) on cassette. very odd finds. then we stopped by kmart hoping to find a cassette carry case, which we did find one, but it held 16 and mom knew there was on that held 30-something so i figured i'd just hold out for it. after that we went home, packed up and julie and i left out for nashville. we stopped by rose's on our way through m'boro (again looking for a cassette carry case) but no dice. did get some xmas wrapping paper though. i also came home with the 20gb drive pop got while ordering my 13gb one; the 20gb is only 5400rpm, but i figure it'll work for storage. also he got me a keyboard, which is nice as it's a little smaller than the one i had up on my desk which gives me some more room.
today julie and i will need to go to wal-mart for some grub. i'm all a-tingle.
