well, quite a bit happening today. started out my taking my main computer pretty much completely apart to dust it all out. even took the fan off the video card. and fortunatly i plugged everything back how it was suppose to go, so i didn't wind up frying anything. after i got it back together i saw that bonnie had emailed me and said that o'charley's had gotten back with her. they said i had great skills, but wasn't the exact match they were looking for. bleh, yeah, whatever. so i call medifax and had to leave a voicemail. so i wait and wait and they finally get back with me. i tell them i'm ready to commit or whatever and she says she'll talk to cara. um..hello? shouldn't this already be figured out? _they_ made the bleeding offer. so anyway i wait and wait some more and finally she calls me back and says it's a done deal. so i start this monday morning at 8.30. i'm not sure what my regular hours will be just yet. i'm not grandly excited by this job. the work itself will ok i think. i hope. but the pay kinda bites. so i imagine i'm gonna keep looking around for a bit. just to see.
also, while i was doing all the waiting julie called and said they were taking her granny (the good one) to vandy. turns out it was st thomas actually, but it was something to do with her heart. details were sketchy at first, but it wasn't anything super serious was about all we knew. but we found she had complained to her doctor about chest pains and her hands being tingly. so they gave her an ekg and found a blockage. so tomorrow they're suppose to go in and figure out if they can get by with just putting in a stint, or if they'll need to remove the blockage. either way, they're going to do whatever they need to do tomorrow. so hopefully that goes well. oh, but julie, trish, and i went by to see her tonight. she seemed fine and acted like normal.
should be going home this weekend. got a game on saturday. might see julie's granny tomorrow too, depending on schedule and what they do and when.
