well i did jack shit friday. julie was suppose to go home that day, but as you can read in her journal, that didn't happen. watched the straight story (again) late fri night on bravo. saturday my parents came up and we went to ted's montana grill for lunch, then back to hickory hollow so my pop could get fitted for a tux and some shopping in general. was gonna hang out with mal and kimberly sat night, but she was sleeping so my parents stayed a bit later and i did nothing sat night. that is untill i noticed the msgs on my machine after my parents left. after hearing the msgs from julie about her explorer i called her and talked to her for a bit, then my parents for some advice on where to take it and stuff. got that all lined up, then went and picked her up and she stayed over sat night. sun morning we got up early, ate at waffle house, and headed off to her dead truck. dude looked at it for a little bit and said it needs a new engine, so he towed it back to his shop in mcminnville. julie and i went back to m'boro and i dropped her off at her dorm. gave mal and kimberly a call..after canceling sat night, we were gonna see each other on sun, till i told them about the explorer. i figured messing with it could take all day, but it wound up pretty quickly. so anyway, william was coming up to do some shopping, so i sat around for a bit, then he picked me up and we all ate at macaroni grill. then we ran over to compusa and i bought a game. the thing. based off the carpenter movie. it had this rebate action going on, so it was only $5. heh. oh, and i got my old processor to test out my slow computer. it's not the processor. so sun night i got a 'new' mobo off ebay and hopefully it will be here soon. and moreso, i hope it fixes the fucking problem. and that it works at all.
s'gonna cost 1100 or so to put a 'new' engine in the explorer, labor and all. not sure if julie's parents will do that or not. it blue books for 2500, so i think it'd be best to fix it, then just resell it pretty quickly, which was our plan anyway. but julie's mother isn't always big on the logic.
