well friday sucked at work cause i couldn't figure this one problem out ALL DAY! apparently me and dana are the only ones that know shit-all about access setups...and she's out till tuesday on vacation. *sigh*
anway, friday night juile and i ate at marina's and just went back to her room to talk/hold for a few hours cause we hadn't seen each other in days, if not weeks. ah, how i love it when she has finals. um, saturday i'd planned on spending all day...well actuall all weekend with my parents, but i found out friday night that juile had 'won' some 4 day/3 night honeymoon package. catch was we had to go to this infomercial type thing where they try to sell us cookware. they did this on sunday and monday, but juile couldn't make it to the ones on monday..so i had to cut my weekend with my parents short and come back here...but i'll get back to that in a minute. saturday me and my parents go out for breakfast and then go to this indoor flea market up above algood. it was pretty fun except at this cell phone accessory booth. the guy running it seemed like a real cockcsmack anyway, but mom was trying to look through this box of stuff and i think he kinda took it away and put it under that table. i'm not real sure cause i was over at the next booth snooping around. anyway mom was already pissed a bit cause the guy hadn't paid any attention to her or something. so she said something..anyway it escalated and mom walked off cursing the guy. then he said more while pop was standing there and i don't think the guy knew mom and pop were together, and even pop got agitated at the guy. pop told him off a bit then went to the owner of the flea market and told her what had happened. i doubt much came of that, but anyway. after that i wanted to go look for some not-work-shoes. we looked at the mall and i found a really good deal on some shoes ($50 airwalks on sale for $17). they were too small though. we looked aorund some more then left. mom said the mcminnville mall had the same store as the one in cookeville so we headed down there. they had the same sale going on and i found some other shoes with the same discount (though i liked the ones in cookeville a bit better). here is a pic of the ones i got. after that we came home and laid around a bit. oh and i watched trading spaces. *hangs head in shame*
so today i leave out and pick up julie and go to this honeymoon thing. the locations to pick your honeymoon from were hawaii, las vegas, cancun, orlando, ft. lauderdale, and all these carribean places. turns out the 'american' locations were one package and the carribean was another package...so you had to decide which one you wanted. we chose the carribean one. uh, but the cookware looked pretty cool, but it was $1800 for a 17pc set of that and it came with 4 place settings of china, crystal and something else. : / not that we really planned on buying whatever they were selling. at least the salesdude didn't pressure us much, but i think the 4 or 5 other groups of ppl fell for it hook, line, and sinker so us not buying wasn't too much of an upset. i'll have to check on the locations/hotels/resorts that we can stay at and make sure they aren't total dumps.
i guess that's it for this exciting weekend.
oh, the thing i couldn't figure out friday at work...i still have to work on it tomorrow. *whee*
