thanks to those to who emailed/IM'd about my granny. she is still doing ok. it took them a fucking week, but they've finally decided to have the double bypass surgery mon or tues, and will also repair two over her valves as they are allowing blood to seep back into her lungs.

i don't ever want to think of either of my parents being in this situation, but the only comforting thing i can think of coming from this experience is that at least i won't have to deal with family drama from siblings. it's good to be an only child.

julie got back from her business trip to jersey friday night safe and sound. it was good to have her back. so saturday we layed around and both rested as the week was a bit rough on both of us. we caught up on all the tv she missed being in jersey, and then we packed up some salad and sandwiches and went to the park for a picnic. it was a really pretty day and we had a good time walking around, playing on the swings, and watching the children there horse around. and as you probably figured, yes, there are photos.
