seems like i did something last mon night, but i can't remember. tues night julie and i went out bowling with some ppl from work, and that was pretty cool. i'm usually lucky to break 100, buy my first game was 117, my second game 133, but my last game was down to 95. friday night julie and i went home to see my parents. saturday we went shopping around with my parents in cookeville and i got a sweater on sale for $7, a turtleneck for $3, and a work shirt for $16 or something. we ate lunch at gondola and pop shopped for a lawnmower. oh, and julie and i got our haircut. after that we went home and i started working on a new laptop pop had gotten but wouldn't read the hard drive. we noticed something was wrong beneath the hard drive connecter inside way inside the case. so we take the thing _entirely_ apart and there's this little metal clip that somehow had gotten bent back around and was touching some of the solder points of the hard drive connecter. so we bend that back around, put it all back together, and it boots up like a champ. i was happy about that as pop was keen to get this thing working. but doing that and installing win xp on it afterwards took up pretty much all of sat night. i started to go to bed around 10pm or so, but got downstairs and just didn't feel sleepy. so i watched tv down there; juile had already gone to bed. i think i stayed up till after 1am; i'm not sure as there was no clock down there. but they had headbanger's ball on mtv which was interesting. kinda. also watched the last half of ghost of mars from john carpenter. it wasn't so good. sunday we didn't get started till late, but decided to go back to cookeville so my parents could pick up these blinds from jc penney's that we saw the day before. we get up there and they're 1/4 of an inch too big to fit in our window. but we decide to go eat lunch at a 'new' place called wooly bully's. the sandwiches my parents ordered were fucking huge, as was my salad and julie's pasta. and it was all really good. on the way out we stopped by big lots and i got a really cheapo version of one of those leatherman things, and a copy of mystery train. for $3.99. it was total luck that i found it cause i just turned around and there it was; finding this is important as richard and i watched the first third of this years ago on tv and could _never_ find it again anywhere. so i'll be glad to finally be able to see it all; would like to watch it with doug if he hasn't seen it and wants to see it.
