lots of stuff at work this week. busy busy busy.
friday night julie and i just sat around, watched wonderfalls, and julie fixed a yummy pizza for supper. we were going to watch jersey girl with erin on sat, but she hung out with misty so we pushed it off till sunday. so sat julie and i did a little bit of spring cleaning, but mostly sat around. oh, heh, we watched terminal invasion on sci fi that morning. i'm surprised julie watched it with me, but i had to watch it as it had bruce "man god" campbell in it. it was pretty good...well...good in a 'me and doug' way. after that event horizon came on so i watched it even though it was cut to shit. it's not quite as good as i remember it being. oh well. still alright. and i continued to rip/encode shitloads of my cds to the secondary machine. and late last night we caught 'xander' on the screen for a few minutes...turns out it was this movie called celeste in the city. i think erin was suppose to watch this movie with misty cause it had debbie gibson in it also. anyway, it was pretty corny, but it's not like we'd watched anything of oscar calibur all day anyway. well, we did watch two rather good/depressing episoses of law and order: SVU. one had a seven year old boy shooting a seven year old girl. turns out it was an accident as he was pointing the gun at these drug thugs further down the street. and the other was about this serial child rapist.
today we slept in till 10. i talked to my parents a bit this morning; pop bought a new riding lawn mower. we waited to hear from erin and kept calling her but got no answer. we'd originally decided to watch the 3pm show, but decided to hold off till the 5:15 show to see if we could still catch her. but while eating supper at camino real erin called and had gone to lynchburg and forgotten to call and tell us. ah well. so we go on to see jersey girl. it was good; some of the musical 'swells' were treading on hokey, but overall i liked it. still very funny. oddly it seems like there's quite a few movies i'd like to see here soon. want to see hellboy; ladykillers looks funny, but i might wait till rental on that one.
