friday night julie and i didn't do much, but we did watch the new episode of monk. pretty funny, but nothing great for a season opener. saturday doug came up and we ate, shopped a bit at great escape, and watched fistful of dollars. which was awesome. oh, and i went looking for some hard drive adapter rails at consumer depot; they said they didn't have any, but doug found them in the back. so big thanks go out to doug for that. then william came over and we went over to erin's hoss-warming party. it was raining cats and dogs and the interstate and roads were a mess. very nasty. but we made it there with no scratches. i think we all had a good time; i enjoyed the grub and abstained from the games as usual. though everyone seemed surprised and/or appalled by this. i thought they all knew i didn't like playing games. i've given in and played some other times, but usually that was just because i was in a really good mood. so anyway we get back here and william decides to spend the night too, as doug had already planned on it. so sun we go out for some lunch at camino real and william heads home to play with his new pda toy. doug sticks around here for a little bit then heads over to see malachi and kimberly. i fiddle around with the hard drive rails i got on sat and try to figure out how to install this drive in the machine i built over xmas. finally decide to just lay it in the 5 1/4" cage and not shake the machine much. : ] um, but that was a pretty restful afternoon. monday julie and i slept in late and diddled around the house till about 1pm; we went out to wal-mart for grub and stopped by blockbuster to see if they had season 2 of coupling on dvd. which they did not. because blockbuster is teh suq. so we come on home, fix some minestrone, and watch some buffy season 5 instead.
thinking about going home this weekend; shannon may want to have a game, but i've not heard anything positive yet. need to hook up with amy sometime soon as i've not seen her in a while. and monday is erin's b-day, so hopefully we'll be haning out with her if she decides to do something public.
