nothing of major importance happened last week. just another week, and weekend, of my life pissed away.
friday night was our work xmas party. it was pretty lame. would have been alright if the two bands hadn't of been there. first was this redneck group that was rather attrocious, but at least they weren't that loud. second was this 'cover' band and the music was just way too loud for the room so no one could even talk to each other. food was okay, but it was all finger food type stuff, except they had chefs slicing ham and turkey on the side of the room. there were rolls there, but nothing else that really compliemented or finished off those things as a meal. rather goofy. by then end i just felt very alone and awkward, even though i was sitting with most of the ppl i work with directly. it just magnified my inability to interact with other ppl, which no one esle there seemed to have a problem with. saturday julie and i did a few things around here, then she went out shopping with erin. they didn't get back till 10pm or so. i sat here all day and read web pages or watched shitty tv. but i watched it on my computer at least. i'd thought about going shopping for juile myself why she was gone, but i know what i'm getting her, and i couldn't make myself want to deal with the holiday/weekend crowd and the cold. so i just sat here wasting away. sunday i was hoping to hear from my parents so we could meet up or something and i could get my new wagon. but juile and i sat here all day and heard nothing till 3pm or so when pop called and said the dipshit hadn't done a thing to the car as of yet cause he was asking which axle to replace. well, let's see genius. perhaps the one that looks like it's fucking crooked going into the boot. and if you drove the fucking thing 20ft you'd be able to tell it was the passenger side. *grah* i was very not happy about not getting it today. cause i'd also hoped to be able to get a tree in the back of it so julie and i could have a tree up soon. but that will wait till next weekend/week after now i suppose.
