very little went on during this week. except at work. wed night the server that houses about everything to do with our claims dept kinda died. specifically it was the raid controller card. so we could't get to our data to do anything at all. very chaotic. we ordered another card from texas and got it friday; it was the wrong card. lots of stuff like that kept happening. like someone's bonehead idea some months back to install XP on a machine and make it a server (but not the one that crashed). apparently management didn't think the 10 user/connection limit would be a problem on a server. *sigh* anyway, today we're suppose to go bowling with some friends from work as julie won some bowling action off the radio. and tomorrow it's possible that erin/malachi/william/kimberly will meet up and we'll play games or do something. that's all a bit up in the air.
oh, and today is the 2 year anniversary of this blog. and another oh, i did go out wed night and buy a ups for my computers as a b-day present from my parents. i ran it by them and they said to go ahead and buy it, and they'd pay me back. i wish it was something that i could actually _play_ with. it just kinda sits there. but they're also getting me a little 8 port switch. ..but that too is kind of a sit there and do nothing thing. and i wound up giving the box that erin gave to me to a friend at work. i took out the network card and the tv card just in case i can get the latter working.
