heh, how sad that i'm updating from work. best i remember last friday was fairly uneventful, but saturday we had our dinner party. i think all the food turned out rather well...except the mashed taters perhaps. i'm glad my chicken turned out as well as it did. i was a bit reclusive during the party, but i think everyone else had a decent time. they played balderdash, but i opted to clean a few dishes and just watch from the sidelines. oh, and julie made a blackberry cobbler which was pretty good..i guess. i'm not so big with cobblers. but sunday we sat around and rested for a bit and cleaned a few things around the house. around noon doug came over and we talked for a good while and i rewarmed leftovers and we had those for lunch. after doug left julie and i cleaned a few more things and just went on to bed. i wanted to read some harry potter, but her throat has been sore so i didn't want her stressing her voice anymore than she needed to.
the work week has been normal. i guess. era stuff has slowed down a bit, so i've been put back on the phones if i'm not doing something immediately era important. bleh. had diner with kimberly last night which was good.
in an odd twist of events, julie now has a job at medifax. she'd interviewed some time back, but odd circumstances kept a final answer from ever getting produced. they sort of wanted to make the offer to julie, but decided to interview one other girl after i told them julie had a job now, though she was still interested. they hired the other girl. well, yesterday the lady over registration asked me if juile was still interested in the job here. after finding out it'll pay 6-7k more, she was pretty interested. so they made her the offer today and she took. she'll start in two weeks.
um, not much else. there's a dnd game this weekend, which i'm looking forward to. too bad i'll not see julie too much this weekend because of it though.
