had a really really good weekend. friday night juile and i hung out with erin, ben, and misty for a bit. we ate a finezza (good italian) and i got some polenta again. mmm. and after that we played some trivial pursuit and i totally schooled all their asses. ...well actually i got lucky and had easy ass questions and perfect dice rolls when i needed them. um saturday julie and i worked on putting things away here for a bit, then we ate lunch at camino real. after that we ran to target and then bed bath and beyond just to look at things we could buy later on with some gift cards we've already got. and we went over to media play and i got pissed cause they had a card for the new front 242, and they were selling it for 11.99. but no cds... grahr anyway we came back to the apt and put up some more stuff and then decided to buy this plastic storage cart thing with a 'wooden' top at target to store some of her stuff together. so we went back out and ate supper at ruby tuesday, which is worth mentioning cause we actually had good service which is amazing for any restaurant in the hickory hollow area. we got the cart, came back, put up yet more stuff and more or less called it a night. sunday we went to see granny tobitt and my parents. and also to get the entertainment center for our bedroom. i took the subaru, and i had to take the back seat out as that was the only way the thing would fit in the car. but my parents took the back seat with them as mom is going to have the top reupholstered for me. on the way down we went down m'boro road instead of going on i24 cause we wanted to look at car lots. so we came back the same way to try and do some shopping for julie a car. didn't come up with too much, but maybe a few things to check on. i did get a bitchin' sunburn on my left arm as i had it hanging out the window a bit too long i guess. stupid sun. sunday night we put the entertainment center together and hooked up all her stereo/tv/vcr/dvd shit. it's a bit more crowded than i'd like, but it's liveable. today, as you can read in julie's journal, her car broke in m'boro. but pop came down after school and fixed it right up for us. which is cool cause for most of the day we were thinking the thing was just locked up and dead.
big lan party this weekend. that's fun to look forward to. julie has pretty much moved in with already though and is living here. kinda weird. but i like it so far. very hard to leave for work in the morning though.
