very shortly after i made the last entry, the delivery guys called up and dropped off the washer and dryer. amazingly they brought the right ones, and didn't make a single mark bringing them in. i left for home shortly after they were gone. stopped in woodbury and got me a tater biscuit at the co-op gas station. man that was good. um, went on home and very quickly wrapped the pots/pans my parents got us for our wedding present, and also the 3 beater mixer that's technically from granny tobitt and ran that up to the bridal shower as quick as i could. i didn't stay long (thank god), but saw doug's mom for a bit and that was good. that afternoon julie finally got back and we ate at the tap in sparta, which they're adding on to. speaking of expansion, i also think panda garden is moving to where the old rite-aid use to be...i guess only doug will get that. and jody too i suppose. um, i hadn't seen the old middle school (or lack thereof) since they tore it down, so we drove by there and relived some fond memories. *groan* then we went driving out through bear cove for the hell of it. came back and talked about some stuff: gifts, wedding, etc and she went on home. sunday my parents and i had a cookout and it was damn good. also, pop gave me this 8mb stick of ram for my laptop (long story) and this weird ibm mouse that doesn't have a wheel, but rather a little nub/joystick thing. it's pretty cool. i can set the drivers so that the pointer will go from the right edge of the screen 'over' to the left if i keep moving right. and it does that for all directions. ..i'm sure most of you really care about that. uh, after eating lunch julie and i met up with the wedding lady and went over that crap..i mean important planning stuff. julie and i stopped at big lots and got a little lamp to put in the bedroom. we got back here and unloaded most of the presents she'd gotten at the shower. i pluge in the aforementioned lamp in the kitchen and it blows the fucking plug out. scared the poop out of me. stupid lamp. so now we have to take that back. and fix the plug. erm, we put most all of the stuff away, and ed/trish came over and gave us the other half of our presents. i wish i could list everything we got, but it'd take forty forevers to do it.
um, today at work kinda sucked cause cory was out; and he'll be out tomorrow too. *whee* didn't sleep well last night, so i think i'm going to go to bed here real soon.
