well it's getting very close to the point of me dreading looking at job sites. this morning i kept finding other little piddly things to do distract myself with before i could finally get around to doing it. not many new listings in the past few days. haven't heard any more from webmd, the inphact/sysgenix help desk position seem to be stuck in 1st gear, and pretty much the same with the edi/teksystems position. though i did get an email back from the guy at teksystems saying he thought i was a shoe-in for the position and they should start talking about dates/interviews this week. but originally they were suppose to start hiring on jan 20th... also, something else that was rather disheartening: saw a listing on dice.com or something for a tech support postion and it was through sysgenix...so i email my guy there and ask him about it. he says the only reference he can find to it is on their intranet and that it's in the inactive area...so there's this job that god knows how many ppl are applying for that doesn't even really exist...and it makes me wonder how many of the ones i apply for are the exact same type of thing.
*sigh*
um, got tix for the tori concert last week. due to a bit of a snafu on ticketbastard's website, i got stuck with balcony seats, but they're row d in the center section, so maybe it won't be too bad.
julie came up saturday evening and we curled up by a fire and read lots of goblet of fire. then sunday morning we finished it up and went out for a bit. looked over some tuxs for the wedding and then worked on picking out some invitations. monday pop came down and we took apart the waterbed and he took it back home. julie was still in nashville when i was done with the bed and pop left, so she came back over and we worked more on the invitations and watched some teevee.
i've hung up most all my posters in my computer room.
um, guess i'll go find something to do around here now.
