too busy.
monday night julie and i went over to erin's for a spaghetti supper and after that julie and i went shopping a bit. tues night julie came over and we watched buffy and did more shopping. wed night julie and i was back over at misty and erin's for a fondue party. it was fun, and we exchanged a bit of gifts. erin got me this horrifically dorky t-shirt. last night doug came up to nashville and picked richard up at the airport; they came by here and we ate at o'charley's and watched the two towers. i liked it alright.
um, wed at work was this job fair type thing where our HR guys had pulled in several different recruiters for us to talk to. there was a lady from webmd, and it sounded somewhat promising; saying she'd have me interview with someone after the new year for some type of data center operations job. and there was a guy from sysgenix recruiters who asked if i could interview 'tomorrow' (meaing thurs at the time). i told him i guess so, depending on what my manager had to say about it. he wanted me to call him wed night to talk about it more as he didn't have the papers about that job with him. so i call from misty/erin's and he says it's an 'engineer II' position at some medical/IT place that works with imaging radiology stuff. yeah. so on the phone that night he was saying the interview would prolly be friday instead; that he'd go over there thurs morning and talk to the guys and submit my resume. said he'd get back with me sometime thurs. well, i never heard from him. called his office and cell phone, leaving msgs on each. called him again this morning and still get no answer. rather, rather annoying.
oh, i'm off work today cause pop is only working a half day and we're gonna do some cleanup stuff to the new apt. and some shopping perhaps.
