monday night i went out and got a crapload of boxes from petsmart. i got rather lucky as it was the first place i stopped and the lady there told me to dig through the cardboard dumpster and get as many/much as i wanted. loaded up the entire trunk of the subaru with broken down boxes. came back to the apt and loaded up three boxes with junk that's just laying around and took it over to the new apt. looked around there a bit as i've not had time since i got it to just stand around and look at it. started seeing a few things wrong here and there...just smaller things that only bug someone as anal as me i suppose. i guess i expect too much. last night i was going to pack up more stuff but got sidetracked cause i had to balance my checkbook and it didn't come out right. i fucking hate it when that happens. sat there 45 mins trying to work that fucker out. was nine bucks off, and it was in my favor..but it still bugs me. so i packed up some stuff last night, but didn't take it over. i'm finding it to become a bit difficult in trying to pack up 'useless' things. i think it'd be easier to just pack it all and go in 'one' large swoop. ah well. oh, and it turns out my lease doesn't run out till jan 31 at bell hollow and there's no way to get out of the lease without basically paying for january's rent one way or the other, so i'll have the place till the end of jan now. julie wanted to come over last night, but i had to make her stay home since it was suppose to snow/sleet. she's wanting to come over tonight too, but i think it's still suppose to be 'wintry mix' all day and into tomorrow. and i don't think i'll be able to pack so well with her there...but i would love to have her with me any extra night that i can.
new amy is wanting me to go to the company xmas party this sunday from 6-8pm. can't say that i'm really wanting to go. it's over in belle meade, and if i do move a lot this weekend, i doubt i'm gonna feel like cleaning up and driving that far over just to sit with a bunch of ppl that don't know me nor care one bit about me.
