better update before i get too far behind. thurs night julie came over first. we waited for doug to get here, and when he did we went to camino real for some grub. we discussed what doug had done at his possible new workplace and stuff. then we all ran over to the new apt so doug could see it, and julie could look at it for the first time without someone pressuring her about wanting the place or not. we came back to the 'old' apt and sat around and talked. doug left out kinda late, and i went on to bed. went to work friday and couldn't wait to get back home to see julie. we watched firefly and doddled for just a bit. then julie got hungry so we went to kroger to pick up a few things. we came back and she snacked and we just sat around and talked about some stuff. sat morning we got up (begrudgingly on my part as i was enjoying laying there with julie just too damn much), cleaned up and loaded her explorer up. stopped by waffle house for some grub, then upacked the first load. we came back here, i packed up more, unloaded, etc, etc. after we got about all i was willing to get by that point, we ran over to the mall. julie called trish just to ask some advice, but trish/ed offered to swing by and go shopping with us. so all four us puttered around the mall, then bed, bath, and beyond for a bit. i can only say that i've had my way with furnishings for too long and it's rather bizarre to try and settle on something as mundane as a bed spread. after ed and trish left, we were gonna go to olive garden, but figured they'd be too too crowded. so we went a bit farther and ate at torrino's. i got the pasta prima vera and ho-lee shit it was good. julie got a cannoli for dessert. mmm. er, then we came back here and again discussed some stuff, we both played on the comptuer a bit, then went to bed. sun morning we both slept in a bit late, so julie didn't get to read much harry potter to me. after she left i went through some stuff here and got some more stuff ready to take over the apt. also talked to my parents for a bit. ran a load over to the apt and was measuring stuff out to make sure the bedroom suite would fit, and how the couch/loveseat will work. by then, julie was done with her desk shift and wanted me to come see her. didn't have much else to do (other than go to the xmas party for work, which i didn't really want to do) so i ran on over to see her. she read goblet of fire for 3 or 4 hours and we both had a great time with it. it had only been a few hours since i'd seen her, and i missed her so much already. sadly, i finally had to leave her again and come back here. uh, tonight i ate out at olive garden with malachi and kimberly (and finally gave mal his b-day present); they dropped me back off here after eating and i went over to the mall to shop for julie. i got her a few things, and looked at some others. went on to kroger's, came back here, washed a load whites, and i should prolly quit now as i need to get my drawers out of the dryer.
oh, my parents didn't come down with the bedroom suite as they'd planned. they should be coming down this weekend with it though. i may go back home friday night though to help them load it up sat morning at home. not sure how i'm gonna work it. oh..and doug got the official offer letter from the place he'd been interviewing with. and he accepted of course. *sigh*
and another oh, richard icq'd me fri night i think it was and said he's flyijng in on the 19th. i'll love to get a chance to see him...just wish i wasn't moving while he was here. makes it hard to work. but, i don't think i was really going to do anything that weekend anyway.
time to get my drawers now though.
