well the lady from the rape and sexual abuse center answered the phone thurs when i called her; she said they were going to be um, well calling ppl that had previously donated and asking if those ppl would like to donate again. ...pretty lowly job but at least it's calling ppl that have already donated. i'm suppose to go over there this wed night to find the place and so she can show me around a bit at least. but thurs night i did shit all. actually played solitaire. watched an episode of the x-files from my season 4 dvds. doug called and we talked a bit. he had an...well it wasn't an interview, but he had to go to take a test for this job in huntsville on friday. friday at work sucked for me cause candy was out, so the brunt of a lot of the stuff fell on me. and hey, she'll be out on monday too. *whee* but friday night i saw julie and we had some diner and watched firefly. i think it was my favorite episode so far. seemed more whedon-y than any of the others so far. then she read me some of goblet of fire and it was two or three really fucking funny chapters in a row so we were cracking up a lot. then i came on home. doug was supposedly going to work on saturday, but he calls me around 11 saying he didn't go to work and i could come on up if i wanted to. so i get ready and head on up there and we go over to spankie's for some lunch (mmm, chicken philly). then we head over to rent some movies; we got nightmare part 4, two evil eyes, and hellraiser: hellseeker. nightmare 4 was pretty bad. and i think the course stays pretty steady for the rest of the saga. two evil eyes was pretty good; the argento/romero touch helped a lot. hellraiser was pretty good too. seemed better than inferno; bit better paced anyway. after those we had 'bout 30 mins till saint sinner came on sci fi (some thing clive barker had done). so doug proceeds to make some brownies. and not from a box or some shit. i mean real. fucking. brownies. so they get done a bit into saint sinner and he brings me a plate with a gob of brownie on it. i say gob cause they were still pretty molten and hadn't formed. they were quite good. 'bout an hour later i go for a second helping (oh, after doug fixed some pasta and like made his own damn fine sauce) and sweet jeebus it was brownie heaven. they had hardened up a bit, but were still oven warm. oh man. only cream cheese could have made them better at that point. still yet later on, during adult swim i got a third portion. it was still good, but not as good as the second portion since they weren't as warm. so anyway, enough about the brownies. today my parents wanted to eat at the buffet at fall creek falls, so we sat around the house this morning and got ready a bit early and headed down there for lunch. good thing we got there early cause it got really fucking crowded. but lunch there was mighty fine. they had some great sweet taters. mmm after that we drove back through some country roads, then went to mom's work place (again) cause she wanted to hook this new keyboard up and rearrange her desk. after that i came back here and now i feel a headache coming on cause i laid on my head too long while watching angel.
misty and erin are wanting to have some shindig wed night, but i'm not sure if i'll go since i'm suppose to run by the center after work..that and i think they may be enforcing the costume aspect of their party. thurs night kimberly is wanting ppl to come over. and friday night bill and pam are throwing a shindig (costumes optional). i think julie and are going to that. they're going to be playing the match game, which most of you are prolly too young to even remember. whippersnappers. oh, and autumn may show up to bill and pam's party; which will be weird as i've never actually met her before.
OH! and my cable is working now. forgot about that. turns out the fucknuts in the third story apartment above me had knocked some connection loose in their apartment and it buggared up my connection. i don't know why the fuck we're all on one wire...but that's what it was. stupid cheap wiring.
