well court went pretty well. had to sit through all the prisoners and more serious crimes first. judge actually asked me if i wanted community service. um, DUH! got 20 hours, which isn't so bad. and i can work them at red cross, salvation army, habitat for humanity, animal shelter, etc. any non-profit center so it seems really. so i'll have to check into that monday. but pop was out of school on friday (inservice or some such) so he went with me to court as he had nothing else to do. after court we went to see mom at work and we fiddled with some of the computers there, then came back home. when mom got in we went to this restaurant on the square in sparta. pretty good. um, saturday i got my haircut (thank god) and then me and my parents had lunch in mcminnville. penney's was having yet another sale, so i got this mock turtle neck shirt that was suppose to be $38 for 17.99. pop got a cell phone; his last one was through worldcom somehow, so it kinda went dead. phone he got this time looks all whiz-bang; big color screen, etc. erm, then i came on back to nashville and julie and i met up here; she was hungry when we got here and since we missed out on some indian last time we headed over to sitar. i got some split lentil soup this time instead of the other soup i'd been getting. this was pretty good, but i think i'd prefer to get the other one. this one didn't have as much taste. i was in the mood to go cd/dvd shopping, so we ran by great escape. i got ablulum from glen phillips, come clean from curve, and the sound of music by pizzicato five. heard that p5 album at a shindig at misty/erin's some weeks back and i thought i'd pick it up. after that we came back here and watched harry potter and the sorcerer's stone as i thought i'd get more from it this time around. then we went to bed and for what i think to be the first time evar, i went to sleep before julie did. this morning we went by waffle house for some breakfast and had a good time there. came back here long enough to hold a bit, then she had to go back to mtsu to work her desk shift. : [ um, oh so when she left i installed this sound card. i'd asked last week for my parents to get it for me for my b-day but they were afraid it may not work and the refund period would be over by the time my b-day rolled around. so they gave it to me sunday. *yea* seems to work well. sounds about as good as the onboard audio, but at least i know it's not hoarking up my cpu to run the sound.
and that's been it. kimberly may come over this afternoon. there's some bad movie she spotted a few weeks ago..something about women and blood orgy in the title. i really want to see it. oh, i think this is it. awesome.
this week at work is suppose to suck shit through a straw. reqs (which i don't know so much about; i deal with access..and no, not MS access) is roling out a new version on monday, so no one will prolly know how the fuck to use it... bleh. we'll see how that goes i guess.
*sigh*
i _so_ didn't want juile to leave today. guess i could have went back to m'boro with her. ..didn't really even dawn on me at the time. just wanted her here. hold her all day. watch bad teevee. or have her start reading goblet of fire. *sigh* yeah, that would have been great. ..still a good weekend though.
