monday night i did shit all. watched from dusk till dawn and ate some tomato lentil couscous. mmm. tuesday..well i could go into this long story about tori's new album, but i'll make this as brief as possible cause i know none of you give a flying fuck really. so there's a lmtd ed of her new album. a month ago i wasn't sure how easily available this thing would be, so i preordered it from amazon. the thing still hadn't even shipped by last night at 6pm...so i got to best buy cause jesus fucking christ it's like a sin to not have the new tori album the day it comes out. that's like a getting a go to hell card..do not pass go, and do not collect $200. so i figured i'd buy the regular version of the album as best buy was suppose to have it for $11.99. which they do. and they have 9 bleeding copies of the lmtd ed. ..now this lmtd ed really is suppose to limited as opposed to the us lmtd ed of winter which one can _still_ find in stores...so...i was kinda unsure if amazon would ever ship the lmtd ed i had ordered there.. you know, perhaps i waited too late and they aren't going to get any more or some shit. so i just buy the lmtd ed at best buy, but don't open it..i'll wait and see how it goes from amazon and then if/when amazon does ship it, i'll just take this one back to best buy or something. because after nearly 27 years of living my wondrefully charmed life, i just fucking know if i hadn't of gotten the lmtd ed last night at best buy, amazon would have fallen through, and then i'd like never find the lmtd ed (without paying out the nose i mean. which was another thing; the lmtd ed at best buy was $16.99. not shabby considering it comes with a dvd and a shitload of other stuff. cost $19.99+$3.99 shipping at amazon.
*sigh* ...yeah that's me keeping it brief.
but i like the new album pretty well. seems kinda...terse. or something. most of the songs start immediately with the lyrics and end when the lyrics are done. it's like there's no room for the music to breathe. maybe there's just a whole fucking bunch of words to say...the album is 74 mins long, which is pele range there (also, both have 18 tracks). ugh, wish i had it with me now; i'd like to hear it.
so tonight i go to the rape and sexual abuse center just to make sure where it is and so the lady there (leetah...sounds like the lost thundercat) can show me around the place. and then i go to misty and erin's party. well actually it's erin's party as misty has to leave today i believe. erin's invited some 'new' ppl and so that will be difficult for me. i'd at least gotten use to the usual crowd at their parties. heh, maybe they won't show.
and tomorrow night is kimberly's party where i believe we'll be watching several mst3k movies she borrowed from andy. then friday is bill and pam's...i've mentioned all this before, but i doubt i'll be able to update much as the end of this week gets rolling. might be playing dnd sat or sun. originally i wasn't sure what i was going to do sat/sun, but i guess that'll decide it.
