other than feeling like p00p i had a great weekend. doug was a suprise guest friday night cause he left out late from his grandmother's on friday and what with the rain, he decided to hang out here for a bit. julie brought over monster's inc and we watched that. doug slept over, but left out first thing in the morning. julie and i went to waffle house and then went out looking at apts and the one house. the house was in a nice little neighbourhood, but we're still not sure if we want to live in that area. oh, and while looking for apts i went on this back road off of bell that connecst to m'boro rd, and there was this recently burned out late 80's corvette up on the side of the road and it was completely burned out. could barely even make out that it was a corvette, but there was just enough of the tail light assembly to make that out. after that we went to phonoluxe, where i got an add n to x cd; and a cd from this female duo called september 67. hadn't ever heard of them before, but the cd was $2 and it sounded..i dunno. nothing really exceptional about it..it just seemed to sound how i've felt for the past few days. speaking of which, i felt pretty bad on saturday. anyway, after that we went to grimey's and i got 2 kid 606 cds (soccer girl ep, and down with the scene). upon buyin these, the guy behind the counter asked if i'd be interested in a sampler from kid 606's label. i said sure. it's got some stuff from cex on it, and even a main song so that's way cool. he had to get it out of his car and sold it to me for $3. swank. we walked over to baja burrito (as julie had never been there) and stopped by this vintage clothing shop on the way back to the car. it was a total emo store, but funny to look around in. then i wanted to go to tj maxx to look for wintery stuff. saw some decent stuff, but didn't buy anything. took a short jaunt by media play too (at julie's bequest) and by this time i was pretty tuckered out so we came back to my apt. we laid around for a bit and talked about stuff, then started looking through some apt books julie had brought over. i fixed julie a little grub for supper and she read me two chapters from harry potter/azkaban. ..and then she went home. i didn't want her too. she had some homework to do for monday, and she prolly wanted me to get some rest and sleep as late as i wanted/needed to, but..i dunno. maybe it was part of my head being wiggy, but friday and saturday just felt..as cliche is it sounds, magical. i'd missed her a lot, and it was just the greatest feeling to be with her.
today i just sat around and played on the computer and took it easy. i could feel that my illness and cold symptoms had let up some, but still didn't feel like getting around really. guess i'll go to work tomorrow. : [
