well no jury duty for me. numbnuts called in 60 damn ppl and they only had one case to try. they needed a jury of 8. so they take us all into the courtroom, pull up a random 14 into the jury box and start asking them questions. as a group mostly, and depending on how you answered, they may ask you individually something more specific. so they go through the questioning for prolly around 2 or 3 hours i'd say. they take 4 off the box which leaves 10. they only need 8. so they take the last two 'seats' off and there's the jury. they tell everyone else to go home pretty much after that. they said they'd call us individually if they needed any more of us to come back in this month, but i don't think they'll get back around to me by then. hope not anyway. still went in to work, so i guess i made $40 for getting up a little early. mostly pays for my water pump.
kimberly came over last night and we watched several episodes of angel from season 3, of which i'm borrowing the tapes from candy. she'll prolly come back over again tonight unless pop intends to come down and get my bimmer while i'm home or something. heh, when kimberly left last night, well she came back to my door and said she need my help. there was a kitten outside (with a collar) that kept trying to crawl into the car with kimberly as she was leaving. so i had to hold the thing while she left. it didn't seem to like me as much, but it wasn't clawing or hissing or anything like that. cause all cats know i'm a cat person, so they at least respect me on that level.
this weekend was suppose to be the big lunch with my parents, julie's parents, and her good grandmother. but as i may be having the car in the shop this weekend, and apparently pop is pretty frazzled with starting the 'new' job, we may have to postpone it for a week.
