friday night i went over to outback here on west end with julie to misty's b-day party type dinner thing and had a pretty good time. erin was cracking me up. saturday my parents and i ironically enough drove to m'boro cause pop wanted to buy this computer case/PS for cheap and look at a table saw (which he got also). saturday night i hooked up with doug, then with shannon and willam and we went to bill's party. i had a decent enough time. seeing kimberly drunk and talking about how oranges were orange was prolly the highlight for me. shannon apparently couldn't hold his booze and got a bit sick, so i had to drive us all home since he drove us over there. oh, sat and sunday i helped pop troubleshoot this computer that stopped working on him. that was pretty fun. finally determined it to be the motherboard. and the way spare parts and stuff worked out, i've not got a celeron 500 in a slotket that i'm trying to get to work in my PII 266. it's not going so well, but it actually posts in this machine, which is more than the slotket has done in the two other machines we've had it in. it posts as a pentium pro 366, which i thought was funny, but freezes at the post screen with a few colored ascii characters popping up on the screen...so i'll have to keep working on that. as i was pulling into my apt complex this ass ugly yellow car infront of me had something on the bumper. in black lettering they had put 'panty snatcher' on it, with a monkey on the left hand side of the bumper. i tried to get a picture since they parked a little ways up from the mailboxes, but my camera was wigging out about low batteries or some shit. and some guys started coming out of the building it was parked infront of and i wasn't sure if they were the ones that were driving it or not...so in fear of getting my ass kicked i just pulled on off. wish i could have got a picture though.
