had a rather good weekend. friday night julie and i ate out at the 'front porch cafe' in m'boro. it wasn't crowded at all which was megaweird considering the time we ate. they serve a buffet type meail on fri and sat but it's not like ryan's buffet. this is some fine fucking dining. but after that we went back to julie's new summer and just talked about stuff and held each other for quite some time. then we watched kevin smith on leno. ...leno sucks. anyway saturday i went to abby and carl's wedding. it was nice and i took some notes for future reference. jody told the story pretty well so i'm not gonna go any farther with that myself. after the wedding though we stopped in knoxville for some hot disc exchange action. at the henley st store i got 'seefeel - pure, impure' 'seefeel - quique' 'mediaeval baebes - the rose' kid 606 - gq on the eq' and 'axiom ambient - lost in the transmission.' the i got 'the cure - paris' at mckay's. after that we ate at silver spoon which the other guys enjoyed..though part of their enjoyment was the scenery i do believe. then we went to the kingston pike disc exchange. i came up empty-handed there but the other guys got some stuff there too. on the way home i got a vanilla coke. ..eh. i like vanilla bubba better. coke is too bitter, and vanilla taste wasn't strong enough for me. after we got back to cookeville we stopped by shannon's (well the second time) to watch the dvd booty from knoxville. sunday i sat around with my parents as usual and they cooked up a big bunch of grub. as usual. i think i was suppose to pick up abby and carl's paper today, so i stopped by their apt on the way in and there were 3 papers there and a box from target. just sitting there. i'm guessing that's your gift jody. so i've got it now. but with 3 papers there, i don't know if i'm suppose to get their paper every day or what.
it just dawned on me today that i get off for memorial day. so that's pretty cool.
watched the last x-files tonight. i thought the whole court thing was a lame plot device to explain the last 9 years to all the boneheads, but at least cancer man was still alive. ..for a little while. it's just really weird that i won't be watching it anymore. i've been watching it since the last part of the second season and watching it julie on sunday nights soon became an institution with us. and now it's no more. evar.
