been a while so i've got more than i can prolly remember to mention. thurs night i went over to malachi and kimberly's for supper; they grilled out again which was yummy. we watched star wars as a weak attempt to find some line attributed to obi wan. friday night julie came over and we watched some angel episodes; the widescreen format won't show properly on my dvd player since it can't transform pal-->ntsc AND show widescreen at the same time. sigh. anyway, saturday we ate lunch at olive garden, shopped around hickory hollow mall, and came back here to watch some more angel to pad out time till we were hungry. we went to midtown cafe as julie wanted to go to a snootier place to celebrate this time around. the food was ok, but both of us got hosed a bit since what we both wanted from the online menu wasn't available. food was ok, desserts were pretty lackluster. overall not worth the price, but at least we tried something different. afterwards we stopped by tower for a bit and came back here. sunday morning we went for breakfast at waffle house, then she went back to m'boro to work on a paper. then what started as shannon coming over to do some cd shopping became william and doug coming over also. so we all went out and ate lunch first, but shannon was complaining about his eyes running and getting gunky. during lunch he just couldn't take it anymore and we went to the vandy ER pretty well sure he had pinkeye. that took a few hours but there were some entertaining moments in the waiting room. so shannon got some prescriptions and we went to a walgreen's to get his sweet junk and came back here. called up malachi and kimberly and decided to go eat at rio bravo for supper and watch attack of the clones. i thought the movie was ok. i kept cracking jokes during the amidala/anakin 'love' scenes, and i think kimberly about lost it during one part.
today i might see julie or i might not depending on how much she's gotten done with her paper.
