alrightee so friday night julie and hung out for a bit; we ran by toys 'r us to look at star wars crap. saturday i hung around with my parents for most of the day and that afternoon doug came over and me, him, and my parents went out to the foglight. i had the fine swine. mmm, pork. i tried to be good and not get dessert at least...but i wound up snacking on shit when i got home. but yeah, after eating we went back home and doug and i rented 'the man who wasn't there' and 'mullholland drive'. 'man' was pretty good...not what i expected it to be...not that i could really tell you what i thought it would be exactly...it was just more straightforward and simple than i thought it would be. but as i said, it was good and quite funny. mullholland drive was rather good also, but i was a bit let down (and puzzled) cause it seemed like lost higway lite to me. and lost highway got panned by most everyone, while mullholland got nothing but raves. *shrug* i think mullholland drive was less confusing though....which is why i was let down a bit...doug and i could actually explain most of the movie to each other. ah well. sunday my parents and i swung by granny tobbit's. oh, but pop and i washed/waxed the bimmer, so it's all purty. then we went to granny's for a bit. on the way home i decided to stop by julie's (though i hadn't planned to) just to see how her moving was going. she seemed happy/surprised to see me (which is always nice) and we talked a while, went to rose's/food lion, then i took her back to the dorm and came back here.

i think kimberly plans on trying to do the cook-out thing tomorrow night. or wednesday. depends on the weather.
but it's time for x-files now.
