dammit, i bust my hump finding a comments service for this page and you ppl don't say shit.
ungrateful heathens.

anyway, julie and i made supper thurs night here. it was some recipe she had; it um, didn't turn out so great. i mean, it came out fine, i just didn't like it. too much onion. bleah. so friday we went shopping for julie an easter dress at hickory hollow. she didn't find an easter dress, but _i_ found her a regular dress. it was 75% off ($70 down to $17). then we ate lunch and watched panic room. it was good; watching the matinee always helps in my opinion. then we came back here for a bit, but storms started cropping up so she high-tailed it on home. leaving me here alone and VERY bored on friday night. moreso since i had to power off all the computers for a bit 'cause of the lightning. so sat i wake up early and head out to see my parents at this cabin in edgar evins state park. it was pretty nice; stayed there for a good bit and came on to cookeville to play dnd. afterwards doug, shannon, and i went to eat at king buffet (a new chinese place where the ponderosa use to to be). oddly none of us got the buffet cause it was so late. then we went back to shannon's to watch unbreakable (doug and i had seen it though). sunday morning my parents got back from the cabin and we lazed around a bit, then went out to eat and i came on home.
still waiting to hear about the job deanna is leaving open; she said they were rather adept at dragging their feet when they hired her so i can only expect the same. there were a couple of job listings today to send off about, which is something at least.

it's so odd that there are only 7 more episodes of x-files left. i'm a bit happy about it though; the show has been sinking since the beginning of the 6th season. it's really freaky to watch one of my dvds from season 1-4 and see how different it has become. and to actually have mulder.
and i haven't been watching the buffy reruns this go around on fx. i think i'm starting to through withdrawls. and it doesn't help that the current season is in a mini-hiatus till the end of april i think. *sigh* at least i have real world/road rules challenge, real world, and the osbournes to watch.
man that is so sad.
